Spinomenal, a top-tier provider of iGaming content, has announced the release of its innovative "Into the Universe" tournament. In this casino event, participating players will fight it out to win a bigger share of the €200,000 prize.
According to the tournament’s sponsor, the event will last for two and a half months. It will run from July 5 to September 27.
For the first time, Spinomenal's revolutionary shared Universe concept will form the basis of this new tournament. It features up to 12 rounds, each with its own unique theme to maintain player engagement.
The tournament themes include:
This is the same concept Spinomenal used in the Golden Era tournament that started in April 2023. It has a €150,000 prize pool and, like the "Into the Universe" tournament, the Golden Era tournament has up to 12 events, with the operator's 190+ online casino games qualifying for the event.
Regulated online casino sites participating in the new tournament will access numerous tools and extensive activities to boost player engagement and retention. The new tournament is available for more than 220 online slots.
Every round in the tournament will earn players an additional 10% in credit points that contribute to the total score. Gamers continue to garner points as they set their sights on the tournament's grand finale: The Final Showdown. They can increase their leaderboard rankings by completing tasks and taking advantage of the Score Boosters.
According to in-house research by Spinomenal, casinos experienced a high player retention rate of 40% for gamers who played the operator's tournaments from round one to the end. The company says that this is a testament to the impact its competitive tournaments can have on players and operators.
Nir Ronen, the COO of Spinomenal, expressed his delight by saying:
"Our Spinomenal Universe really caught players' imagination thanks to its unique concept and we couldn't be happier to now launch the epic 'Into the Universe' tournament. Players will have an instant affinity with the characters who are thrown into new narratives and worlds where there is an increased chance for big wins."
